Hey There,

My name is Chad Sharp. I am a songwriter, producer and recording artist. I started this production company back in 1996. I was still in high school. Whoa. I am from Mitchell, SD and grew up there. C-Sharp Productions was started back there. I did alot of recording and writing with local and regional artists. We did pretty good. We released a lot of CD's. We also had music used on national TV, radio and online. We were lucky enough to ride the first wave of Mp3 music. I knew online music would be the future.

In 1997 I graduated with a diploma in audio production from the Recording Workshop School for Recording Arts in Chillicothe, OH. I also started working in radio that same year. I worked in radio for 7 years. After that I was self employed running an insurance company and C-Sharp Productions.

In 2007 I moved C-Sharp Productions to Minneapolis, MN where I am now. I have the studio set up in my apartment just west of downtown Minneapolis. The Twin Cities is full of music and has a great, funky vibe. Kinda fun to be in the city that gave us Prince and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis! I have also studied songwriting with Berklee College of Music.

I am still writing and producing tons of music for artists and songwriters. Learning along the way and having fun. I hope I can work on your project soon!
